Three determined cyclists, Gauta Mahlakoane, Karabo Mokoo, and Maxwell Ndou, have successfully completed their extraordinary 1741km journey from Burgersfort, Limpopo to Cape Town, arriving after 14 days of cycling.
Their remarkable feat has captured the nation’s attention, not only for its physical endurance but also for the powerful message behind it.
These young men, members of the Gauta BMX club, embarked on this ambitious trek to inspire and empower young men, particularly in their community.

Their goal was to steer youth away from the dangers of drug abuse and gangsterism by demonstrating the power of determination, resilience, and positive goals.
The cyclists aimed to raise funds and awareness for their local bike club, which provides a positive outlet and support system for young people.
