AmaZulu CEO Sinenjabulo Zungu-Ntuli recently took to social media to remember and pay tribute to her late husband, Bongi Ntuli.
The football star passed away in 2023 at the age of 32, following what his club described as an “aggressive form of cancer.” His death came shortly after the couple’s wedding.
In an emotional post, Sinenjabulo shared how thoughtful and loving her late husband was.
“I hate that it’s all just memories now. But I’ll tell them one day. I’ll tell them about the real Bongathini. ‘I’ll tell them about the guy full of love. I’ll tell them about your compassion and kind heart.”
She continued, praising Ntuli for his courage: “I’ll tell them about your strength and courage. I’ll tell them about how you were willing to risk it all. I’ll tell them about your over-protection. I’ll tell them about you. I’ll tell them.”
The couple held their white wedding in late 2023, after getting married traditionally earlier that year. Their intimate ceremony was attended by close friends and family.
Bongi Ntuli enjoyed a successful football career, having played for Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns, Platinum Stars, and AmaZulu.
