South African actor Thabang Lefoa, best known for his role as Sphola on Skeem Saam, is celebrating his son’s birthday.
“Another year to my son,” Thabang wrote on social media, accompanied by birthday cake emojis.
In January of this year, Lefoa also took to social media to celebrate his daughter who turned 3.
Born in Rustenburg in the North West, Thabang Lefoa is widely recognised for his lead roles as Andile and Prince in the first and second seasons of the e.tv drama series eKasi: Our Stories.
In 2009, he landed a minor role in the SABC2 drama series 90 Plein Street as one of the comrade leaders.
The previous year, he appeared in the SABC1 soapie Generations as Pule, a technician at Pan African radio station.
Lefoa also played a small role as Julius in the SABC1 drama series Zone 14 and, in 2011, secured a lead role in the short film Full Circle, which earned him a Best Actor nomination. In 2015, he made a guest appearance in the SABC2 sitcom Majakathata.
In addition to these roles, Lefoa has played Tsietsi in a supporting capacity on The Wife Showmax.
