After weeks of laughter, tears and unexpected twists, Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 reached its conclusion in a live eviction show.
Jojo was the first housemate to exit the house, securing fourth place in the Umlilo season. Nate followed soon after. Nsuku, the last remaining woman in the competition, was the third finalist to be evicted.
The tension peaked as Sweet Guluva and Uyanda battled for the top spot – but in the end, it was Sweet Guluva who claimed victory, walking away with the R2 million grand prize.
The 23-year-old Cape Town student – who also juggles careers as a model, artist, footballer and barber – quickly became a social media sensation.
In light of this, the Siz The World team highlighted that while young voters rallied behind Sweet Guluva, driving him to victory with their support, the same energy was notably absent in last year’s elections.
