South African on-air personality, actress and model Minnie Dlamini has announced that she is the executive producer of a new upcoming music show.
Minnie Dlamini’s rise as a prominent South African presenter began in 2010 when she was selected as the new presenter for SABC 1’s live music show, Live Amp.
Dlamini expanded her repertoire by co-hosting SABC 1’s lifestyle show, Mzansi Insider. She also ventured into sports broadcasting, co-hosting Soccerzone which demonstrated her versatility.
Beyond these flagship shows, Dlamini has graced numerous high-profile events, including award ceremonies like the Metro FM Music Awards and the South African Film and Television Awards.
Club Bangers
Minnie took to her Instagram to share the exciting news, saying the show coincided with her milestone 15 year anniversary of being a host of Live Amp.
“EXCITING NEWS My brand new show is coming to @channelotv 4 April 2025 at 19:30 #ClubBangers 15 years ago I won the live presenter search and worked as an intern on the popular music show Live.
“Today I’ve produced a brand new music show that shows the culture the scene and the vibe of the hottest party spots 🇿🇦 Reunited with my Live production team for a full circle career moment @sjulad @bev_m_m #ExecutiveProducer,” wrote Minnie.
Minnie revealed that she executive produced the upcoming new TV show titled Club Bangers and that it will soon premiere on Channel O on 4 April.
