Apparently, there are two types of coffee drinkers in the world: those who believe all coffee is the same, no matter how it’s made, and those who refuse to settle for anything less than the perfect brew.
Drive 959’s Glen Lewis falls firmly into the latter category. “I just don’t drink any coffee. I want coffee made by baristas, and my favourite barista is in Cape Town—they were named Best Barista in 2022. I’m very fussy about my coffee,” he revealed on the show this week.
Ayanda Nyathi admitted that as soon as he started earning an income, he, too, became particular about his coffee. “I developed a bit of a twang,” he joked.
