A listener shared that when she started dating her husband, he told her about a watch he had received as a gift from his ex.
At first, it didn’t bother her, as they were still getting to know each other. However, nearly two years into their marriage, she is struggling to come to terms with the fact that her husband is still holding onto a gift from a previous relationship.

“My husband has this watch that he got from his ex. He told me this while we were still getting to know each other. Back then I didn’t care much when he told me but now that we have been married for a year and a half, I feel that watch should have stayed at his parents’ house.
“I hate it, and he loves it so much. He is always wearing it. He says he loves it and has got nothing to do with his ex. I even got him a new watch, but he barely wears it.
