Adulting actress Samkelo Ndlovu recently took to social media to share a heartfelt message dedicated to her daughter on her 7th birthday.
In her post, Samkelo described her little girl as her “first true love, apricity, and anchor.” She continued, “My beautiful, kind, funny, intelligent little future rich bestie.”
Reflecting on the journey of motherhood, she expressed how watching her daughter grow has been her life’s greatest joy and purpose. “I love you with everything I am,” she added.
Samkelo Ndlovu is a South African actress best known for her role as Sonia in the SABC1 soccer drama Zone 14, a role she took on in 2010. She also starred as Nkosazana in the 11th season of the SABC1 AIDS drama series Soul City in 2011.
Her career continued to flourish with roles such as the rebellious Lira Khumalo in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inkaba (2012–2013). She also appeared in the SABC1 dramas Intersexions, Sokhulu & Partners, and Zone 14, along with a supporting role in the popular soapie Generations.
In 2011, she landed the role of Esther in the Thapelo Mokoena-produced feature film Skyf – The Movie. Two years later, in July 2013, she made her debut on Rhythm City as Lerato, the glamorous and flirtatious cousin of Fats.
Samkelo currently stars as Minky in the Showmax drama Adulting.
