SAWS has additionally stated that there are threats of hail, heavy downpouring, damaging winds, as well as excessive lightning.

SAWS has urged residents to act quickly to safeguard themselves and their properties.
The most crucial thing is to take cover indoors, ideally in a basement or strong building away from doors, windows, and electrical equipment.
Pull over to a safe spot away from power wires and trees if you’re driving. Stay away from wide spaces and bodies of water.
Keep flashlights on hand in case of a power outage and secure any loose items outside that can be blown about by heavy winds.
