SABC 3 has announced that it has secured the broadcasting rights for the 67th Annual Grammy Awards, set to air on Monday, 3 February 2025, from 19:00 to 22:30, with a repeat scheduled for Saturday, 8 February, at 19:30.
Presented by the Recording Academy of the United States, the Grammy Awards honour outstanding achievements in the music industry. Originally known as the Gramophone Awards, the ceremony’s iconic trophy features a gilded gramophone. Widely regarded as the most prestigious accolade in the global music industry, the Grammys celebrate excellence across multiple genres.
The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will feature a series of special performances, including the highly anticipated In Memoriam segment, a star-studded tribute to the legendary Quincy Jones, and heartfelt performances celebrating the spirit of Los Angeles.
This year’s lineup includes Brad Paisley, Brittany Howard, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Cynthia Erivo, Herbie Hancock, Jacob Collier, Janelle Monáe, John Legend, Lainey Wilson, Sheryl Crow, St. Vincent, and Stevie Wonder.
The ceremony will take place at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, with Trevor Noah returning as host.
