South African global superstar Tyla made history when she performed at her final homecoming concert at the Sunbet Arena, Time Square in Pretoria on Saturday.
The 22-year-old Grammy Award winning artist, whose real name is Tyla Laura Seethal, became the first African artist to have her show streamed live to 44 African countries on Showmax.
“Streaming my show across Africa tonight On Showmax STREAM DAT SHIIITTTT,” an excited Tyla tweeted before her concert.
The show was a star studded affair with the likes of Real Housewives stars Christall Kay and Jojo Robinson, YouTuber Lasizwe, BET presenter Shamiso Mosaka and actress Nambitha Ben-Mazwi in attendance.

Although some of her fans have criticised the singer for lacking energy, the star has since remarked that this was in fact her favourite show yet.
“My fav show yet damnnnn,” Tyla said on X.
In December last year, the Water hitmaker kicked off her homecoming tour with two sold out shows at the Grand Arena, Grandwest in Cape town on the 5th of December and at the Sunbet Arena, Times Square in Pretoria on the 7th of December.
She also performed at an exclusive invite-only Coke Studio session in Johannesburg on the 4th of December.
