At AFI Cape Town Fashion Week, Miss South Africa, Mia le Roux, elegantly walked the runway while wearing the national costume that was created for her participation in the 73rd Miss Universe contest in Mexico.
Mia’s Ndebele inspired gown that boasts with Dr Esther Mahlangu’s original Ndebele artwork, was designed in collaboration with the Hollywood costumes and AFI SA through the Esther Mahlangu foundation
The costume features white cloud wings made from feathers that Cape Karoo International procured from Oudtshoorn, Mia’s homeland.

Mia Le Roux considers her transformative experience as Miss South Africa on the 10th of August. The beauty queen posted a special picture from the historic occasion with the following caption:
