Dr. Irvin Khoza will continue to serve as the National Soccer League’s chairman for the ensuing four years. He took over the league’s leadership in 2003.
Khoza expressed gratitude for the vote of confidence following his re-election at the PSL general meeting at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg.
“I want to express my appreciation for the members that did not make it [to the exco],”
“They were very competent members of the executive committee, and their services won’t be lost. They’ve cooperated in strategic committees because of the intellectual memory they have and the capacity they have in so many fields and met the challenges that we are facing.” said Khoza
The new executive committee has also kept four other club managers in their posts. The elected officials are:

Dr. Irivin Khoza gives Dr. Kaizer Motaung a R2m gift
Kaizer Motaung has received an R2 million present from Khoza in recognition of his contributions to the growth of football in the nation.
Khoza paid a heartfelt homage to Motaung who celebrated his 80th birthday last month at the beginning of the organization’s quadrennial general meeting in Sandton on Wednesday, acknowledging his leadership as a key figure in the PSL’s establishment.
PSL chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza presented fellow Exco member Dr. Kaizer Motaung with a R2-million gift after he turned 80.
