South African rapper Da Les is currently in recovery after suffering a stroke earlier this year.
In a health update shared on his social media, it was announced, “He is receiving rehabilitation and taking things slow with the support of his loving family.”
Expressing gratitude for being alive, Da Les said, “It’s truly a miracle, and I owe it all to God for his strength.”
“Da Les is incredibly thankful for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers from his fans, friends, and everyone who has reached out. He will continue to keep everyone updated on his healing journey and deeply appreciates the continued encouragement. Recovery takes time, but he remains positive and focused on achieving a full recovery.”
Statement from Da Les
Celebrity hairdresser Amu The Barber recently wished Da Les a speedy recovery on social media.
After news of the stroke broke on July 26, 2024, rumours started swirling that the rapper was having trouble paying his hospital bill and his family was seeking donations.
However, the rapper turned podcaster L Tido set the record straight by stating that Da Les’ family did not ask for any donations.
“One thing I do want to put out there is that I see people rejoicing on social media about certain things. I actually want to put this out. His family never asked for donations for those who are unclear, ” shared L Tido in part.
