South African Hip Hop artist Cassper Nyovest and his wife Pulane recently shared their first vlog as a married couple.
In the vlog, which appeared to be recorded purely for entertainment purposes, Cassper shared how they’ve managed to stay strong together.
“We’ve been married for six months, and some people don’t make it that far,” joked Cassper. “Just follow our journey, and we will keep you updated.”
He added that one thing that has strengthened their relationship is that they never argue.
Cassper and Pulane got married in April of this year at a traditional wedding ceremony attended by their close friends and family.
Cassper recently came under scrutiny after his baby mama, Thobeka, shared her story on her birthday.
Thobeka opened up about the challenges she faced over the past few years, including struggles with her son’s health and betrayal in her relationships.
“Who would have thought I’d be here? Not in pieces but in peace,” she said. “The tears that were once in silence are now from laughing out loud. I’m truly in awe of the goodness of God. How am I so deserving of this unconditional love? His protection and grace? Even when I was unfaithful to Him, He remained faithful to me.”
She continued, “I’ve always heard God is found in certain locations. I didn’t know I’d find Him at my lowest and most broken.”
Thobeka revealed that at just eight months old, her son was diagnosed with cancer. “An entirely different world opened up for us. I always valued protection and privacy. Trying to maintain ‘the world’ and my world was a marathon in itself,” she recalled, adding that she lived in oncology for two years with her son as he underwent chemotherapy and life-threatening surgeries.
Alongside this heartache, she faced personal betrayal. She shared how infidelity in her relationship with Cassper added another layer of emotional turmoil during an already difficult period.
