Another political leader has agreed to join Jacob Zuma’s MK party. Bongani Baloyi, the Xiluva leader, made the news Thursday afternoon in Dube, Soweto.
Baloyi joins a lengthy line of leaders who have left their respective parties to join the MK party, including Colleen Makhubele and Floyd Shivambu. Baloyi has switched parties four times in a short period, but he claims he has solid reasons for each.
The former Xiluva leader Bongani Baloyi was greeted by a delegation of uMkhonto Wesizwe (MK) party supporters from Johannesburg where he stated that he and other Xiluva leaders will join the MK party, encouraging other members to do the same.
He stated that he founded Xiluva in an attempt to replicate the success of the MK party.
