Dolce & Gabbana has sparked quite a stir with the release of its breakthrough dog perfume, Fefè. According to the Dolce & Gabbana website, the perfume will set you back €99 (roughly R1 965).
The luxury brand has stated that this one-of-a-kind scent, named after the founder Domenico Dolce’s beloved poodle, aspires to change the way we treat our canine companions.
The perfume, which was announced on social media on August 1st, reportedly includes notes of ylang-ylang, musk, and sandalwood, all of which are normally linked with high-end human fragrances.
The unveiling of the scent provoked contemplation not only on aesthetics, but also on the relationship between luxury, health, and ethical pet care.
