As voting in the 2024 Elections gets underway, the ruling African National Congress (ANC) is currently leading over the Democratic Alliance (DA) and the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
With votes counted from 3 743 of 23 293 voting districts, the ANC is in the lead with 42.54% of the votes nationally.
Just a few hours after South Africans took to the polls to cast their votes in the National and Provincial Elections, the ANC are ranking as the top party with 682 342 votes.
The DA trails the ANC with 411 388 or 25.65% of the votes, followed by the EFF with 136 256 or 8.5%.

Newly formed uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party who are currently leading in KwaZulu-Natal are hot on the heels of the EFF in the National vote with 129 565 or 8.08% of the votes.
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) will announce the results of the 2024 Elections on Sunday, 02 June.
