Casandra Fine has responded to the outpouring of love she has received following the leaked video of her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs abusing her.
The model who was in a relationship with the American rapper between 2007 until late 2018, opened a pandora’s box of explosive abuse and sexual assault allegations against him in November 2023.
Since then, a number of women have come to forward accuse the 54-year old father of 7 of drugging them, before either coercing them into sex or raping them.
While Diddy initially denied these allegations, calling them a “money grab”, it seems the music mogul’s empire is unravelling after his homes were raided in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.
Last weekend, a leaked video shocked the world, depicting the rapper’s abusive side as he grabbed, dragged, kicked and punched Cassie in a hotel corridor.
Apologizing to Cassie after the 2016 hotel CCTV footage was leaked, Diddy called his behaviour inexcusable, despite maintaining that the allegations levelled against him in his ex’s lawsuit were untrue.
Cassie responded to the love and support she’s received since she spoke out about nearly 10 years of physical abuse, sex trafficking, rape, being introduced to excessive drug use, Diddy controlling her during their relationship and threats.
“Thank you for all of the love and support from my family, friends, strangers and those I have yet to meet. The outpouring of love has created a place for my younger self to settle and feel safe now, but this is only beginning.
Domestic violence is the issue. It broke me down to someone I never thought I would become. With a lot of hard work, I am better today, but I will always be recovering from my past.
Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to take this matter seriously. My only ask is that EVERYONE open your heart to believing victims the first time.
It takes a lot of heart to tell the truth out of a situation that you were powerless in.
I offer my hand to those that are still living in fear. Reach out to your people, don’t cut them off. No one should carry this weight alone.
This healing journey is never ending, but this support means everything to me. Thank you.”
