Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader Gayton Mckenzie is offering a R250 000 reward for information regarding the senseless murder of 5-year old Ditebogo Junior Phalane.
Little Ditebogo was shot and killed by an unconfirmed number of armed suspects who also allegedly hijacked his father of his Toyota Hilux bakkie.
South African Police Service (SAPS) Lt-Col Mavela Masondo says the suspects were most likely tracking Ditebogo’s father’s patterns.
Ditebogo who was named after his father, used to accompany his father into townships in Soshanguve selling potatoes.
The boy’s devastated father, who lives in Polokwane, had just arrived at their Soshanguve Blocc UU home at around 22h00 on Friday, 10 May.
Ditebogo Junior had just ran out into their yard to greet his father, when the suspects jumped them, took their bakkie and shot the boy.
