There has been a growing concern over the rising number of weaves getting snatched in South Africa.
Human hair wigs are the latest target for Joburg and Cape Town thieves. News 24 reports that Felicia Mazibuko and Zandile Magagula were left traumatised after their expensive wigs were snatched right off their heads while walking in the CBD.
Last year, a woman was left traumatised after her wig was snatched in Johannesburg CBD.
She took to TikTok to upload a video showing herself wearing just a wig cap. In her video, she explained how she had just started walking down the street when the wig was snatched off her head.
