Ramoshai was involved in a multi-vehicle crash over the weekend, which claimed his life. The crash that claimed Pope Kagiso’s life involved eight vehicles and occurred on the R71.
The 28-year-old’s death was confirmed by his brother, Tshepo Ramoshai, who shared that Pope Kagiso died in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 14.
Ramoshai will be laid to rest in Turfloop (Makwaleneng) on Saturday, April 20. The service starts at 06h00 am. The memorial service is currently underway at Jackbotes Hall in Polokwane.
In late 2023, during an interview with Richy B, Pope spoke about how fragile life is and how he could lose his life in a car accident.
“As we sit here, we do not know what God’s plan for you and I is after we finish recording this podcast. If I get out of here and then I’m involved in a car accident, God forbid, people will stay questioning, ‘God, why Pope?’ It’s because we don’t know God’s plan. God works in mysterious ways that he can use a sad event in your life to promote you,” said the late comedian.
