A motorist was rescued from the Tshwane floods after being trapped in the vehicle on a water logged road in Centurion on Tuesday morning, 09 April.
The female driver was caught in fast flowing water at End and Rabie Street but was unharmed.
This comes after Joburg EMS issued a Level 2 warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms on Monday, 08 April.
Joburg EMS remain no high alert as disruptive rains are expected to persist on Tuesday.
With a 60% probability of rain, further flooding is expected in low-lying areas.

The City of Tshwane have shared that a number of bridges, roads and intersections are flooded and advised motorists to avoid the areas below.

Residents are urged to avoid crossing river streams when conducting daily activities, monitor young children to stay away from river streams/drainage systems, motorists are urged to exercise caution while driving and extend safe following distances when driving.
According to the South African Weather Service (SAWS) the thunderstorms and heavy rains are expected to ease from Wednesday.
The adverse weather warnings comes after gale-force winds battered most of the Western Cape on Sunday, 07 April.
A severe Orange Level 9 warning was issued for parts of the province including Cape Winelands, Overberg and Helderberg.
Schools in the Cape Winelands and Overberg remain closed due to the potential for risk still remaining high.
