Congratulations to South African rapper Siyabonga Johannes Nene, better known by his stage name Big Zulu, who bought himself a brand new truck as a birthday present. Big Zulu shared the exciting news with his fans on social media while showing off his latest acquisition.
The hitmaker holds birthdays close and dear to his heart. Earlier this year, he celebrated his grandmother’s birthday and wrote a heartfelt message to the queen of his heart.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say happy birthday to the mother who brought me into this world. She carried me for 10 months. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me, grandmother.”
Big Zulu recently honoured his promise to a Newcastle family by rebuilding their home, after it was destroyed in a fire last year.
The rapper and songwriter thanked everyone who contributed to the initiative. “Thank you. As we promised that we will build a house for a mother and her children to live well, here it is finished.
“I would like to thank everyone who helped make this a success and those who contributed, so that mother and children can have a warm home. Thank you so much Newcastle municipality.”
The family, who lost all their possessions as well, were helped with food items, and now have a new start in life.
