Diddy’s homes were raided in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.
Homeland Security reportedly raided Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami on Monday afternoon.
The story was first shared by Fox News and according to an anonymous source cited by NBC News, federal officials in Manhattan have conducted interviews with three women and one man regarding allegations of sex trafficking, sexual assault, and the solicitation and distribution of illegal drugs and firearms.
The R&B singer Cassie, who dated Combs for years, accused the artist and entrepreneur of sexual assault last year. Cassie’s suit was filed on November 16 and led to a series of lawsuits against the businessman.
In a statement to the American newspaper The Daily Beast, a department official confirmed the raids.
“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners,” they said. “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
Video footage of the raid from Fox News has been widely shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).
