Dr. Dre gets the 2,775th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Among the large crowd who attended the ceremony to install Dr. Dre’s long-overdue star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame were Eminem, DJ Quik, Snoop Dogg, and 50 Cent.
Other guests who were in attendance included, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pharrell Williams, Battlecat, Terrace Martin, DJ Pooh, Big Boy, John Singleton, Jimmy Kimmel, and Warren G.

Snoop Dogg who also received his star in 2018, gave the most memorable speech of the event when he started his speech with his iconic line “I want to thank me”.

Before the Walk of Fame event, Dr. Dre revealed more information about his health struggles over the years, he visited SiriusXM’s The Life of Mine With James Corden where he revealed that he suffered three strokes after the terrifying event, which included a brain aneurysm in 2021.
“I got up and I went on about my day, and I thought that I could just lay down and take a nap,” he said. “My son had a female friend that was there and was like, ‘No, we need to take you to the hospital.’ So they took me to urgent care.” “Next thing you know, I’m blacking out. I’m in and out of consciousness, and I ended up in the ICU. I was there for two weeks. I’m hearing the doctors coming in and saying, ‘You don’t know how lucky you are.’”
