The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) held a manifesto rally in Gauteng on Saturday, 02 March which included a performance by Shebeshxt.
EFF Commader-In-Chief (CIC) who celebrated his birthday on Sunday, 03 March joined the Limpopo-born rapper on stage and danced to cheers from the crowd of supporters.
Malema, who turned 43, addressed EFF supporters outlining the party’s promises of land, jobs and an end to loadshedding.
As part of the EFF’s manifesto, free education is one of the highlighted 7 pillars the party has pinned down on it’s agenda.
The EFF’s manifesto highlighted 7 pillars for the 2024 general elections which include:
- Expropriation of South Africa’s land without compensation for equal redistribution in use.
- Nationalisation of mines, banks, and other strategic sectors of the economy, without compensation.
- Building statet and government capacity, which will lead to the abolishment of tenders.
- Free quality education, health care, houses and sanitation.
- Massive protected industrial development to create millions of sustainable jobs, including the introduction of minimum wage(s) in order to close the wage gap and promote rapid career paths for Africans in the workplace.
- Massive development for the African economy and advocatingfor a move from reconciliation to justice on the entire continent.
- Open accountable, corrupt-free government and society without fear of victimisation by state agencies.

Taking a break from the formalities, Malema joined Shebeshxt on stage and danced along as the artist performed.
While some questioned Malema’s dancing skills, others said it was good to see the EFF leader in such high spirits. Malema was recently on Point of View with Phemelo Motene giving a more detailed overview of his party’s manifesto.
