Lerato Kganyago has opened up about her recent, painful miscarriage, which is reportedly the 5th pregnancy loss the media personality has endured.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Lerato shared a picture of the sonogram from her 25 January gynae consultation.
Expecting the next story to be Lerato’s ecstatic pregnancy announcement, her followers were left heartbroken for the popular radio presenter when she shared that she unfortunately miscarried.
“Pardon my silence. This was the most happiest but became painful part of this Month of Love.
Thank you to my supportive colleagues, my bosses, my family and friends. I’m strong and will never give up.
On the 12th is when my incredible gynae broke the news.
I’m much better than last week, my parents have been next to me and have carried me.
Thank you to those that have been checking on me.
I was so hopeful.
Dear Feb, you’ve hurt me.”
Lerato Kganyago opened up about her miscarriage earlier this month
Lerato is married to businessman Thami Ndala and Valentine’s Day has previously belonged to the 41-year old, whose husband usually goes above and beyond to indulge her.
From gifting her a hotel in 2022 to booking out the entire FNB stadium to host a romantic dinner for her in 2021, Lerato has set the bar high for the month of love, and the news of her miscarriage a few days before Valentines Day was not expected.
This isn’t the first time Lerato shared that she had miscarried, and in 2021 on her radio show she revealed that she went through her fourth miscarriage at the time.
“I think I was 3 to 4 months pregnant but unfortunately I lost my baba. I’m sure you guys saw that I was really big. Yes, I had a miscarriage this year again, it was my fourth miscarriage.
This is something that I didn’t want to discuss but since we’re having an honesty night, I was looking forward to this pregnancy.
I thought this time around that I had made it through because I had been trying so hard for a while.”
