Eskom moves from stage 6 to stage 4!
Eskom announced that it would be switching from stage 6 load shedding to stage 4 starting at noon on Sunday, giving South Africans a small reprieve.
Stage 3 will then be put into effect on Monday from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m., and stage 4 will be put into effect on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m. Up until Thursday, this schedule of executing stage 3 in the morning and stage 4 in the evening will be followed every day.

It stated that 5,617MW of generating capacity is currently out of service due to planned maintenance, while 15,386MW is currently experiencing unplanned outages.
By Tuesday night, about 2,500MW of generating capacity should be back online. According to a statement from the power company.
