This week, during an interview on Metro, South African actress Sophie Ndaba couldn’t hold back her tears while describing her relationship with her kids.
Over the years, Ndaba has been vocal about battling a chronic illness and surviving an abusive relationship. During the recent sit-down, the actress advised parents to listen to their children and love them. “They are so precious,” she professed, speaking about her relationship with her kids.
“My kids saved my life. Besides God and my friends, it’s my kids. Obviously, Lwandle was with me in my midnight hours. If that child could bathe me, he would have bathed me.”
The former Generations star explained that the conversation about her relationship with her children moved her because parents tend to ignore their kids. “Parents, pay attention to your children. They will save your life one day. I am telling you, I am living proof today,” Ndaba counselled, standing as a testament to how the support of one’s offspring can serve as strength to persevere.
Reacting to Ndaba’s words, fellow actress Connie Chiume commended her for sharing her story, saying, “You are healing so many right now, my dear, through your testimony. We thank God for your life, my dear. May God uplift you as you fulfil His divine mandate.”
Sophie Ndaba recently showcased her newfound radiance, capturing the attention and praise of Mzansi.
The actress shared her moving message, “Let me put The Devil on Notice, and Reintroduce myself! Sometimes, just walk around obagopotse gore owamamg honey! Just prove to that one person who told you, ‘Just look at you. No one will ever want you, you’re too ugly and dying.’ Batho ba Brave nje!!, Heee, he forgot WHOSE you are,” as she posed in a captivating figure-hugging outfit that accentuated her beauty.
Her display of self-assuredness and grace has resonated with fans and peers alike.
