Former Generations actor Thabiso Mokhethi, widely recognized as Sam in the iconic drama, has opened up about his triumphant battle against drug addiction.
Taking to social media, the actor shared his inspiring journey of overcoming addiction and transforming into a guiding light.
“I was once trapped in the clutches of drug addiction, but through grace, I found liberation. I was once consumed by my own struggles, sinking into depression, until the Lord rescued me. I used to live a life devoid of truth and honesty, but the Lord has molded me into a nobleman,” Mokhethi revealed.
However, he humbly acknowledged that there are still areas in his life where the Lord continues to guide and strengthen him. As he experiences this personal growth, he feels compelled to share that strength with others. “The Lord empowers me, and in turn, I am called to empower you with the same strength,” Mokhethi expressed.
Inviting his followers to join him on this profound journey, the actor emphasized the significance of grace in his life. “Today we are walking into grace; today we are walking and living because of grace. I don’t know how to share grace with you according to my understanding; I want to share grace according to my understanding,” he said.
Furthermore, Mokhethi shared a scripture about grace from the Holy Bible, reaffirming his commitment to his transformative journey and his intention to inspire others through his story.
