After weeks of speculation, Jub Jub has put all rumors to rest by confirming his return as the host of Uyajola 99 on Moja Love. The much-anticipated new season is set to premiere on August 6, 2023.
The news of Jub Jub’s comeback comes as a surprise, as there were previous reports of Moja Love and the host parting ways. In February of this year, TshisaLIVE reported that sources claimed Jub Jub was informed that his contract would not be renewed.
This was after a legal battle between Moja Love and Jub Jub after the channel allegedly withheld his January salary. The dispute centers around an alleged gender-based violation, which saw Jub Jub allegedly violating Moja LOVE’s anti-gender-based violence policy.
According to reports, the Uyajola 99 host got embroiled in a heated argument with his female business partner, Keabetswe Mokoena, in December 2022. During the altercation, Jub Jub allegedly directed offensive language toward Mokoena and insulted her mother’s private parts.
Mokoena and Jub Jub were previously working together as co-organizers of the Moses Kotane Arts Festival, an event held in the North West.
