Kudzai Mushonga shares that he’s moved on after being depressed in his relationship with Khanyi Mbau, which ended after 2-years.
The Zimbabwean businessman opened up about feeling unloved and unworthy when he was dating the South African actress, admitting that he was sinking into depression.
However, it seems Mushonga has found love in the city his ex once abandoned him in, and has been living it up in Dubai with the reported new woman in his life Vanja ViÄentijeviÄ.
Both Kudzai and Khanyi have deleted snaps they once shared with one another from their Instagram, sparking rumours that the on-again, off-again couple have parted ways.
In an interview with ZiMoja, the businessman reveals that he’s in a much better place and is doing good.
“I started feeling unloved, unworthy and not cared for, for a very long time. The only thing I had was Dubai views. I was very depressed, I was dying inside.
It was a slow, painful death and I wanted it to end faster. I was falling apart. I was isolated from everyone. I gave up everyone including my close friends and family, all for love.
I gave it my all, but I was sinking into depression.”

While Kudzai and Khanyi tried to make things work after the “Dubai incident”, with the actress getting a tattoo of Kudzai last year, it seems the businessman grew tired of feeling like an afterthought in the relationship.
Kudzai Mushungo didn’t divulge too much information about his reported relationship with Vanja but says he’s focusing on him right now.
“I can’t say much right now, but I am good. I have moved on, I’m doing me.”
