Quincy Jones reportedly rushed to hospital over the weekend
Legendary American record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and film and television producer Quincy Jones had a ‘serious response’ to something he ate
This reportedly caused him to be rushed to the hospital.
According to the 90-year-old “had a bad reaction to some food that he ate,”
Paramedics rushed him to the hospital on Saturday, 17 June, and thankfully after doctors gave him the all-clear and discharged him.
Quincy who came to prominence in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor before working on pop music and film scores has won 28 Grammy Awards and has been nominated 80 times over.
In 1992, he was also given the Grammy Legends Award.
Thanks to his collaborations with icons like Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson, the 90-year-old’s music career has lasted more than 70 years.
