Arthur Mafokate has been appointed as the chairperson of CCIFSA.
Arthur Mafokate has been appointed in a prestigious position as the chairperson of the Creative Cultural Industry Federation of South Africa (CCIFSA).
According to CCIFSA website, their role is to lobby and advocates for its member organizations on government policies and legislations;
They also develop standards and industry policies to be obeyed by the member organizations and leaders, staff including member organizations of the federation and create a self-regulatory body for cultural and creative through an Act of parliament;
They also preserve and document the cultural and creative professionals legacy, while coordinating the industry, and protect rights and status of the industry professionals.

Mafokate took to social media over the weekend to thank all those who congratulated him and sent their well-wishes.
He wrote “Thank you for all the well wishes”
Mafokate was recently embroiled in allegations for his involvement in the lottery scam which a left many on social media with mixed reactions following his his appointment in the new role.
