Experiencing your first heartbreak is devastating to say the least!
Whether it was from an unrequited situationship, a long term relationship, a toxic or a never ending talking stage, it’s safe to conclude that regardless of the context or situation at hand, heartbreak is an excruciating and crippling feeling that will have you questioning your entire existence.
However despite the pain you may have experienced, not all is lost.
The lessons that come with heartbreak are not only necessary for personal growth, but they teach you hard lessons that you probably never knew you needed.
On Feel Good with Andy Maqondwana, Andy asks listeners about the lessons their first heartbreak has taught them.
One listener shares how his first break up allowed him to become more self aware.
My first relationship I had no idea what I was doing. I was in high school and doing it because everybody else was doing it. And then the first heartbreak came. Joh I lost weight and had no appetite! That break up taught me to know myself better than what I did before!
Another listener jokingly shares how her first heart break has taught her that men are not good people!
My first heartbreak taught me that men are not good people! You!
