American actress Keke Palmer has reached out to Nadia Nakai to let her know that everything will be alright.
Nadia lost her boyfriend Kiernan Forbes who is popularly known as AKA in February 2023. The rapper was shot and killed outside WISH restaurant on Florida Road in Durban.
Commenting on Nadia’s post about wishing she “never experienced AKA’s love,” Palmer told her that “time will heal everything.”
“I’m so so so sorry. Time heals everything and sometimes that isn’t what we want to hear or what we WANT.”
“Holding on to even the pain sometimes means holding on to the memories and the good times that you really don’t want to forget or accept only now can live in your past.”
The actress reminds Nadia that “God will see you through no matter what, so feel all the feels.”
Even so, she “must remember that he is always with you and it’s only here in the earthly dimension where we feel we can be separated from our LOVE.”
In addition to this, the American personality comforts Nadia by reminding her, that despite no longer being with us in the physical world, our departed loved ones still live vicariously through us.
“The truth is, our love(s) can never leave us. Even when they are no longer here with us on earth and we can’t see them, they are still around and live through us. You will learn a new way to love him,” wrote palmer.
Following AKA’s death, Nadia has opened up publicly about her grieving process and battle to get back to normal life.
