“I’ve had a sore back for more than a month and consulted my GP when I could no longer tolerate the excruciating pain in my left rib. I went for an X-ray of my chest and ribs a few days ago — I have a pathological fracture and swelling caused by cancer.”
“I was first diagnosed in 2012, at the age of 32, and how I discovered that something was wrong was when I had given birth to my son Zinawe, because he only survived two days, without breastfeeding because he was in neonatal ICU, they had given me something to stop the production of milk.” said Mandela.
She has taken a takes a step further by starting a YouTube channel with more than 600 subscribers to share her story with the world.
