Vusi Thembekwayo has apologized to AKA’s family after using the rapper’s passing to make a political point.
During a discussion about South Africa’s financial problems, Vusi voiced his opinions on eNCA.
The main subject of the interview was the supposed involvement of the ruling party in corruption at Eskom.
Thembekwayo then gave the example of how the enigma surrounding the murder of Hip-Hop local legend Kiernan “AKA” Forbes would have been cleared up had the apartheid government still been in place.
He said “If, God forbid, what happened to Kiernan Forbes happened during Apartheid, and the Apartheid government wanted to find the killer, they would’ve found that killer in 24 hours”.
