DJ Zinhle expresses her relief after her youngest daughter Asante got discharged from the hospital.
On Thursday, DJ Zinhle took to her Instagram stories to reveal that she had been “crying all night” because baby Asante was in the hospital
“Daddy has been suffering because I have been crying every night after visiting my baby.”
Like any caring parent, DJ Zinhle couldn’t stand leaving her baby in the hospital.
Zinhle and Murdah Bongz welcomed Asante in 2021. Her name, “Asante” means ‘thank you’ in Swahili.
She is her second daughter after Kairo who she shares with the late rapper AKA.
In a heartfelt letter written to AKA, Zinhle revealed that she and Kiernan did not let their differences get in the way of parenting Kairo
“I am so glad we figured it out, it’s as if we knew you would not be around long enough. Thank you for loving her the way you did.”
She promised that she and Murdah, as well as Lynn and Tony Forbes, will continue to raise Kairo in a loving environment.
“We will raise her in a loving environment that encourages forgiveness, one that is deeply rooted in the great spirit of being a family…over everything else. We are all responsible for her happiness now, my family and yours will pull together to make sure she is the happiest girl in the world…exactly how you always made her feel.”
