The Forbes family is living up to their promise to release AKA’s music as he had wished.
In the early hours of Friday, the late rapper’s family and management released his new single Company featuring longtime collaborator Kiddomant.
In true Supamega fashion, Company draws from the Afrobeat genre coupled with soothing melodies and South African references.
AKA also honours slain Amapiano pioneer DJ Sumbody.
Company is available on all streaming platforms and YouTube.
AKA’s fourth studio album Mass Country will be released on the 24th of February 2023.
Vth Season’s Raphael Benza, who’ll be overseeing the release of the album says AKA worked very hard on the project.
“The energy and the expectations from the Megacy fueled him to make a masterpiece. We are delighted, even at our saddest moment, to share the music he left behind for us for eternity. Long Live Supamega, Live Long!! The world we never forget AKA that’s a promise.”
