Word on the street is that Duduzane Zuma and his wife Shanice Stork are reportedly heading for a divorce.
The son of Former President Jacob Zuma had apparently prioritized his political ambitions over his duties as a husband which prompted his wife to push for a divorce.
This according to the publication Zimoja, which claims that Stork has reportedly moved out of the marital home she shared with Duduzane.
The publication cites a number of sources confirming that Stork had moved back with her parents amid divorce proceedings.
Duduzane and Stork were married in May 2015 in Durban. But after 7-years of marriage, Stork reportedly moved out of their home in March last year.
The couple’s troubles were sparked by Duduzane’s political agendas and his demanding travel schedule.
Sources claim Stork said her husband had negated his duties and responsibilities in their marriage.
In November, Duduzane shared that he was supportive of polygamy and said he was open to the option of taking a second wife.
The businessman shared with Sunday World that polygamy has “an amazing support structure” and he respects the tradition.
Duduzane said that he would have that conversation with his wife, in-laws and his family if the need ever arose for him to take another wife.
It is unclear if the conversation of a second wife was the catalyst for Stork to walk out of their marriage.
However, a source told Zimoja that Duduzane stopped making time for his wife and had comrades in and out of their home.
“In the end Shanice couldn’t take it because she loves her space. Even when Duduzane was not working on his political career, he’s always out and about, travelling with his friends, not behaving like a married man.”
