David Nyathi and Aaron Mokoena are set to embark on a talent search and scouting for Bafana Bafana players.
David Nyathi and Aaron Mokoena, former Bafana Bafana defenders, have been brought on by the South African Football Association (SAFA) to assist the national team.
The Bafana Bafana icons have been formally hired and will begin monitoring current South African players outside of the country.
David Nyathi, will be the Chief Scout for the Association and Aaron Mbazo Mokoena, will be the assistant Chief Scout.

Bafana Bafana Technical Director, Walter Steenbok stated on Friday at SAFA House that the Bafana Bafana icons will be tasked with the expansion of the talent pool for head coach Hugo Broos.
“It’s already in the pipeline, that in order for us to have. a successful technical identification program and a scouting recruitment program that is very sound that we might have to beef up that department with a performance analyst.
“He will do scouting and video briefing of all the players that are [close] to the team, so that’s the main thing that we’ve already done from our side.” Steenbok told iDiskiTimes.
