Carl Niehaus announces that he is starting a political party.
Carl Niehaus, an expelled former ANC member, has declared that he is launching a political party for individuals who felt misled by the liberation movement.
The former uMkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) spokesperson who was an ANC member for 43 years, thinks the movement no longer serves the needs of the populace.
Carl Niehaus’ has suggested a “political movement” may be an effort to undermine President Cyril Ramaphosa’s administration.

This comes after Niehaus’s announcement that he would launch a political movement to help with the struggle for South Africans’ emancipation.
“Comrades, this year we are going to continue to build a broad civil society, a broad political movement that will work for the full liberation of our people.
That will also work for the liberation of those many comrades in the African National Congress who have been betrayed by a rogue, sell-out, white monopoly capitalist agent comprador capitalist group,” Niehaus said.

Niehaus also invited ANC members to join his new political formation, saying they were fed up with the organization.
“We are not fighting the ideals of the African National Congress. We are not interested in fighting those comrades who are truly dedicated to those ideals who still find themselves in the ANC. “
“Our invitation to all of them is to join us in a re-dedication and commitment to the full liberation,” said Niehaus.
