DJ Sbu celebrates 2 years since breaking the world record for the Longest Music Radio Show.
With the assistance of friends and other artists, the South African musician’s journey was successful.
Two years ago, he underwent a nine-day experience which saw him broadcast in both South Africa and Tanzania, challenging his team to participate in the world’s longest radio show marathon for charity.

Sbu sent a response on social media, thanking Black Coffe, Simmy, and others for making the objective possible.
“On this day exactly 2 years ago we embarked on a 10-day journey to set a career milestone World Record for Marathon Longest Music Radio Show in The World raising money for @Siyazigabisa Home Of Hope in my Birthplace of Tembisa,” he wrote.
“And I would like to thank all my brothers and sisters who made it all happen with their love and support for the cause. We also launched our 2nd Radio Platform @Homegrown.Radio after the success of @Massivmetro Thank you very much for all the great memories. May you all be blessed in 2023 and beyond.”
