Trevor Noah got to rub shoulders with few football legends David Beckham and Didier Drogba at the World Cup in Qatar.
Since wrapping his final episodes as host of the Daily Show, Trevor has been racking up his frequent flyer miles, jetting off across the world.
The South African comedian who returned home for a short visit two weeks ago, attended the quarter-final match between Morocco and Portugal over the weekend.
It was here he managed to rub shoulder with former Manchester United and Real Madrid star, David Beckham, as well as former Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba.
Trevor shared that he looked up to David Beckham as a teenager and tried but failed many times to “bend the ball like Beckham” used to.
The move was Beckham’s signature, leaving football fanatics stunned at his ability to clip the ball into the goal from tens of meters outside the 18-yard box.
“As a 15 year old I destroyed so many pairs of shoes trying to figure out how to bend the ball like this man. I never figured it out but yesterday he promised to buy me a new pair of predators😂.
David Beckham is a true legend and absolute gentleman.”

Trevor also sang retired Ivorian footballer, Didier Drogba’s praises saying it was a fun surprise to bump into the legendary striker at the Al Thumama Stadium in Qatar.
“Find me a defender who says he could contain this man and I’ll find you liar. What a fun surprise to bump into my brother Didier Drogba, One of the greatest strikers the world has ever seen! #AfricanPride”
Trevor will be focusing on his comedy tours and other projects now that the Daily Show is over, with 12 shows planned for his home country between August and September 2023.
