SA artists on ‘Coming 2 America’ soundtrack
Nasty C is one of several musicians who feature on Def Jam Africa’s ‘Rhythms of Zamunda: Music Inspired By Coming 2 America‘ album.
Prince Kaybee, Gemini Major, and Anatii also have songs on the soundtrack.
Nasty C signed with Def Jam Recordings in March last year. The deal was a joint venture with Universal Music Africa.
“Nasty C is a unique and forward-thinking artist who is at the forefront of a new generation of rappers emerging from Africa.
“Def Jam is a globally recognized brand synonymous with excellence in hip-hop, and we are excited to welcome Nasty C — an international star with real vision and talent — into the family,” Def Jam Recordings’ Jeff Harleston said in a statement.
