Connie Ferguson marks the 21st year wedding anniversary with her late husband, Shona Ferguson.
Conine first met actor Shona Ferguson in July 2001
Connie is most recognized for her part as “Karabo Moroka” on Generations, which at the time was the most-watched soap opera in South Africa.
She began appearing in the series in 1994 and continued until her departure in 2010.
They were married in November 2001 and in June 2002, the couple welcomed a daughter.
An almost 20-year marriage came to an end when Shona Ferguson passed away in the late afternoon of July 30, 2021, due to COVID-19-related problems.
On Wednesday she posted a sentimental message and a photo from their wedding day on November 30, 2001.
She wrote.“This day 21 years ago. Tomorrow never came for my bestest friend, but I know how much he loved me. There’s a great comfort that comes with that, knowing just how happy you made someone in this lifetime, and how happy they made you.”
“True love never dies, and I carry this love with me in my heart and soul for eternity. Thank you for the beautiful everlasting love and memories my ANGEL SHO.”
