Humans are social beings, and because we’re inherently social this means that we are highly influenced by our surroundings, specifically influenced by our proximity to our friends, family and colleagues.
How and who you spend your time with will slowly but surely have an impact on the way you conduct yourself.
On Best T in the City, Tbose asks listeners about the habits they have adopted from their friends or family.
In a voice note one listener shares how she adopted a bad habit from her cousin:
“The bad habit I adopted from my cousin is using snuff”.
Another listener explain how he started smoking because of his friends:
“I wasn’t smoking for a long time. I started smoking at the age of 22, when I got to Gauteng. After I met my friends I started. I was also addicted but fortunately I stopped. Thank God!”
Here’s what listeners are saying on social media:
As bad as it might sound uncle @tboseZA I've also adopted #HabitsFromFriends laughing in any situation that I might be in, even when draining in depression we will laugh it out like "yah,no skeem kuya go'wer manje"🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I used to be a 10-15% tipper but after learning that my bestie tips 20% plus 4 great service (from an Uber driver who'd driven her b4), I've since upped my tipping game.
