8-year-old abducted two weeks ago in Cape Town has been found in Khayelitsha.
Abirah Dekhta, a young girl who was kidnapped about two weeks ago, was discovered on Monday night in Khayelitsha.
The small girl was discovered after a thorough a well co-ordinated search, according to police.
Forces were deployed as part of an integrated intelligence-led operation in the suburb where the young child was discovered.
News24 reports that the family of Abirah Dekhta, 8, who was kidnapped in Cape Town about two weeks ago, is relieved that she was discovered on Monday night during a search operation.

Abirah’s reunion with her family was confirmed by police spokesperson Sergeant Wesley Twigg.
“SAPS members from various specialised units and City of Cape Town law enforcement officials utilising state-of-the-art technology have located her in a shack in Town Two, Khayelitsha, on Monday evening,”
“She has since been sent to a doctor for a medical assessment. Meanwhile, investigations into the crime of kidnapping continue with police detectives currently questioning several individuals with a view to apprehending the perpetrators of the crime,” Twigg said
